I loved this book. So many great hints and tips for beginners and some lovely photos of dice! Can’t wait to try them all out!

It's a great book that gathers up all the essentials into one place to help the new dicemaker get oriented into their new hobby (and potential side hustle).

The book is written well with clear and relatable english and the illustrative images are well executed. And then there's the various pages of artist spotlights...simply gorgeous.

I will recomment this book to anyone who is getting into this hobby. it is a great guide until you find your own way and nail down your process (something I am STILL working on).

I have spent probably weeks upon weeks on research and experimentation that could have been cut down DRASTICALLY if I had this book in my hands when I started.

Does this book cover everything? No, there are so many techniques and products out there that it would be impossible to write that book. This book gives you enough for you to feel confident about the steps you are taking and what your goal should look like. The rest is up to you. Good luck!

I bought the book and I have gone through most of it. It definitely has a lot of helpful information for new dice makers. Anyone who is thinking about or is new to making dice should buy it. It has minimal info for advanced makers, but that isn't who the book is made for.

With Critmaker's book, it has made the processes of using resin (not just the dice-making) much more understandable, affordable and do-able. If something goes wrong (which it has in the past) I can pretty much find the answer and right the wrong next time by finding it in the book.

For those starting out and getting overwhelmed by all the YouTube videos available, Critmaker's Guide is invaluable to help stear you in the right direction! (Also, there are so many pictures of all the pretty shiny math rocks fellow dice goblins! So many pretties!)
