Learn to Make Resin Dice

Types of Epoxy Resin
There are two types of epoxy resin:
-
Casting resin – is designed for casting objects in moulds that are thinner than 5cm (or 2"). Most dice are made with casting resin. It has a decent working time and cures in around 24 hours.
- Deep pour resins – are designed for deeper castings and take much longer to cure. These resins generally have fewer bubbles. Their low viscosity and longer cure time mean that bubbles have ample time to come to the surface to pop naturally. For those without a pressure pot, this might be the best choice, but best to consult with your local resin supplier.
